How to get proof of your vaccination

Vaccination proof will automatically be sent to your email address within 24 hours if this fails to arrive please follow the step and advice below.

Your immunisation history statement on Medicare will record your vaccination. You can use this as proof of your influenza vaccination status.
Get your immunisation history statement using either:
  • your Medicare online account through myGov
  • the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
Read more about how to get an immunisation history statement.

How to create a myGov account and link Medicare

We have guides and a video to help you create a myGov account.
Once you have a myGov account, you can link Medicare. You’ll need your Medicare card handy and to answer some personal questions.
When this is done, you’ll have access to your Medicare online account in myGov. You can also download and use the Express Plus Medicare app.

How to check and update your details online

It’s important your contact details are up to date with Medicare.
You can view and update your contact details using your Medicare online account or the Express Plus Medicare app. Sign into your account through myGov or the app and select personal details.
