Nurse induction information

Please watch the video on the right of screen and view the diagram. As an immunisation nurse it is vital you check vaccination height correctly. The main photo above demonstrates correct technique, please note gently squeezing the muscle increases the amount of injection area.

    Please watch the video on the right of screen before completing this section. An onsite induction will also be completed with another immunisation nurse. This is fully paid for and includes hygiene, emergency procedures and computer use.

  • Gloves are not required, however the employee should ideally see you sanitise your hands with provided hand sanitiser.
  • Alcohol prep swabs provided not required unless site is dirty
  • Cotton wool balls & tape provided
